Off-Campus Orientation and Mobility
In our present culture, there is often resistance to orientation and mobility specialists (OMS) traveling off campus with students for lessons, as well as concerns the OMS may have due to this resistance. We will take a look at advocating for, planning, and conducting off campus lessons. This will include reviewing resources that justify the need for community lessons and tools for getting everyone on the same page (families, administrators, transportation, etc.).
