From Aaron Waheed to Everyone: I have many roles in my lifetime as a Deaf person, a DeafBlind Intervener, Support Specialist, Paraprofessional, Teacher, Program Manager, and now, DB Specialist for VR service. ECC is very powerful tool and help students discover alternative ways to use their toolbox effectively and empower students to develop self-advocacy skills which is very important. From Lisa Lewis to Everyone: Typically developing kids have the ability to learn so much by watching, but for some kids, focusing on the ECCs help the gen ed teachers understand why the lessons and accommodations related to the ECC s help them to understand our kids.
