From Ms.Marissa to Everyone: My favorite tool to support the need for off-campus travel is the Career, College and Community Readiness standards. It clearly shows where the learning and experiences would stop if off-campus travel is not allowed. I believe itÕs somewhere around 1st/2nd grade.

From Angela Pozzuoli Tabb to Everyone: Just sharing experiences so you know you may not be alone. I have had So many obstacles for sure regarding transportation and off campus travel and trying to figure it all out to provide best O&M practices and service times for our students. I have had access, not had access at all, access only with a designated driver to take us to training environments, and many do not allow uber/lyft and limits on public transportation opportunities in smaller communities. My advice is hang in there and keep advocating for the students the best you can while you have the opportunity. #1 core commitment is to the LEARNER.
