Rocking and Jumping on an Essef Board [ Title end: ] Narrator: In this video, a young girl explores the properties of an Essef board; sitting on it, lying down on it, rocking on it, and finally jumping on it. Note that the Essef board is positioned next to wooden bars, or a ladder on the wall, so that the child can hold on for support. Audio Description: Anna sits on the Essef board with her right shoulder against the ladder on the wall. She turns toward the wall in a sitting position, her feet straddling the board, grabs the ladder with both hands, rocks and bounces gently. Anna turns 180 degrees to her left. With her back against the wall, and holding the edges of the Essef board, she rocks and bounces gently. Anna turns to her right and her right foot touches a basket full of balls nearby. She climbs off the Essef board to explore the basket of balls. New video scene. Anna is seated, facing the wall, both hands on the ladder with her legs straddling the Essef board. She bounces gently. She lets go of the ladder with her right hand and continues bouncing gently. Anna holds the ladder with both hands, turns to her left, leans backward and lays on her back on the board, holding the ladder with only her right hand.
