>> Kate Hurst: I wanted to welcome our guest speaker today. Erin Lawler is a public policy specialist for the Texas Council on Developmental Disabilities. And Erin has some terrific information to share with you today. I going to introduce her briefly but we liked what she had to share so much that we made her go into the studio and so after a brief introduction, we'll share the recording that we did in the studio and then following that recording, Erin will be here and we'll have lots of time for questions and time to visit with Erin. I want to remind you again of the opportunity to go in and submit questions online if you are too afraid to speak up but for sure you can just hit the mic and ask your questions later on. So without further ado, let me see if I can shift this camera and we will introduce you to Erin. [camera now on Erin] Erin. Glad to have you here today. >> Erin Lawler: Thank you very much. My pleasure. >> Hurst: And we'll go ahead and get started with your video here in just a minute. But if there's anything you'd like to share while I am getting this set up, just let me know. >> Lawler: Well, sure. I didn't have my mic on just now so you might not have heard me. I just wanted the say good afternoon and thank you all for joining today. I think this is a important topic and I hope you'll feel free to ask questions at the end. Feel free to try to stump me. >> Hurst: [laughter] Thanks, Erin.
