A boy with cortical visual impairment and cerebral palsy lies prone on a lounge chair in the family yard. Beneath him is a a tray with dried beans, glass beads, small stones, and a shoestring tied to a soda bottle.

He sweeps his open right-hand back-and-forth across the tray with a raking motion. His left hand remains open with his palm on the tray.

He snags the shoestring with the fingers on his right-hand, and pulls the bottle across the tray.

He slowly closes his fingers on his right-hand around a small stone, and brings it to his cheek, while also lifting his head.

Narrator: Please note that a Support Bench would be preferable in this situation, because it is sturdier. However, this video demonstrates that while lying on his stomach, at a slight elevation, the boy can use his arms and hands more freely, than lying on the ground or a foam wedge.
