In this video you will see with Easton and Jessica McCavit, OTR. She places a scoop near his hand to give him the opportunity to use it, but he currently prefers to use his hands to fill the cups.
Here’s is a video of Jack using a buncher at meal times. Notice that he has a loose grasp on the spoon, but because of the buncher, he’s able to keep it in his hand and practice bringing that spoon up to his mouth.
In this video you will see Jessica McCavit, OTR, helping Skye eat her lunch. Notice that Jessica holds the spoon steady right by the mouth, and does not chase the child with spoon.
